One huge help was getting over 400 devices from New York to Tanzania in 3 days. We were able to meet the plane and all who saw the download off the plane to the trolleys were amazed and wanted to know how to help.
From there Iceland Air published an article in their online magazine which stirred up more interest.
Rotary clubs in America and Africa were instrumental in finding ways to economically import and distribute these donated devices quickly and efficiently.
The four way test of Rotary fits well with our Crutches 4 Africa agenda.

Original impetus for going to Africa
Aunt Mae Jackson who invited us to accompany her on her first trip to Africa to help orphans and widows was probably the greatest help and ongoing supporter we have. She is also on the Board of Directors.
