And what is the cost to deliver a pair of crutches to someone in need in Africa? Three dollars.  That’s right, just three dollars!

Any amount will  help and make a huge difference.

Making a big difference is what we have in mind with our "LOANER, DONOR" program. The essence of this program is that you donate the interest you earn from a sum of money of your determination. Your money is still yours... and you help us greatly!  This program also works with donating 1/2 the interest and so on.  This also generates a nice tax deduction at the end of the year!  If you like what you see, you can renew your agreement as long as you like.

We are currently working on the “penny project”.  We ask anyone, especially young people, to pick up the change that they find for one year and put it in a jar. The goal is to find a penny a day.  With one million people doing this for one year we will easily raise the 3 million dollars needed to accomplish our first task of delivering 1 million pair.  Now the good part, we won't spend any of the 3 million dollars!  Instead, we will safely invest this money and use the interest made from this money, to fund Crutches 4 Africa!  As this fund grows, Crutches 4 Africa will change from an organization to a foundation which then will be able to award grants  to other organizations that are working to help the physically challenged people of the world!  Always growing and sustaining the initial 3 million, which will continue to grow, and only using a part of the interest,  the effect of what we do for others today will carry on into the future!
